bird hunters and hunting dog enthusiasts. They have a serious obsession with bird dogs and
hunting, and that passion (some people — perhaps the women in their lives — call it a
“problem”) has "forced" them to load up dogs and guns and strike-out to Wisconsin, Alabama,
Kansas, Ontario, South Dakota, South Carolina and Iowa in search of quail, pheasant, ruffed
grouse, sharp-tailed grouse, spruce grouse, Hungarian partridge, woodcock and even ducks.
Of course, Chris and Greg spend a great deal of time hunting quail, woodcock and grouse in
Georgia too. When not chasing wild birds, they’re likely training their English Setters or
American Brittanys, competing in various field trials, or talking bird dogs with anyone who
will listen (or pretend to).
Chris grew up on a farm in South Georgia, in an area know as the "Bobwhite Capital of the
World." He has owned and trained just about every breed of bird dog known to man. Chris
is married and has a son and daughter. In addition to working with bird dogs, Chris works as
a financial and operational management consultant.
Greg grew up in central WI where ruffed grouse and woodcock are the main pursuit of bird-
dog fanatics. He works as a marketing manager for a sporting goods company when the dogs
allow it, and when the bird seasons are closed. Greg often travels to hunt ruffed grouse,
sharp-tailed grouse, woodcock and pheasant, as well as Georgia's quail. He doesn't miss
many opportunities to be in the field, whether it be field trialing, hunting or training.
